To get coverage of your local event in the Mount Vernon Voice:
At least three days in advance of the event, contact the Voice with the date, time, place, a contact person with phone number, and a brief description of the event. A representative of the Voice will make every effort to attend or to work out alternate coverage—such as by using courtesy photos and a news release—if we are unable to attend.
